how do you get the radio lights to work, when I put in a cd radio lights say cd. when on radio no lights. Thanks Pierre

Do you have anything on the display? or just the green "CD IN" light on when so ? no. just green when a cd is playing.

It seems that your radio has got the "Perishable Capacitor Syndrome" the capacitors on those radios always leak the electrolyte (it's a corrosive liquid)and that eats the copper traces and make lots of short circuits inside. Sometimes it can be fixed sometimes is too late, bring it to a shop for a total recap in the main board before it's too late. That is of  course if you love your Bose radio!, If not just trow in a new one.
