Audio Systems: amp and subs, amp fuse, ford taurus

Question
-------------------------
About the fuses, there we have something wrong, how many   fuses you have in the amp?
Do you have a Battery fuse? and did it blown sometime?

I don't know if I have a battery fuse how do I tell? I have a '94 Ford Taurus. I do have a cap. I have 2 fuses in my amp. They are side by side and the one on the right keeps blowing. Thanx for answering my first questions.

Answer
The Battery amp fuse is usually (if professionaly installed)close to the battery (it looks like a clear plastic tube of about 3 inches long) so in case that the line would get grounded your car will not be reduced to ashes! if you don't have a fuse in the wire that feeds the amp, better install one ASAP. You can get one on circuit city or another store that sells amps.
About the amp fuse i still confused since Kenwoods have both fuses paralleled in case of a short, both would blown for safety reasons i would recommend to have the amp checked by a trusted tech. And please DO NOT OVERFUSE IT!!
