Audio Systems: CD player in 2005 Suburban, fuse box, reset button

Question
Hi, I recently had a CD to get stuck in my CD player in my 2005 Suburban (I'm not sure what brand the CD player is, sorry).  I managed to get the CD out, but now the player won't work.  It won't take in a CD - I have tried several.  There is no error message and the radio and tape player still work fine.  Any ideas what might be wrong?  I would love to try to fix it myself and not have to go to the dealer. I did check the fuse box and none seemed to be blown, as far as I could tell - I wasn't exactly sure which one went to the CD player.  Oh yeah, and I have already tried pounding on the dashboard. Ha, Ha!  Anyway, I do appreciate any help and I thank you for your time.

Answer
The ole dashboard beating... :P
We have all been there!

Without knowing the brand, I would have to tell you to attempt finding a reset button on it (possibly recessed).  You might call the dealer and ask them if it has one and where it is located (if it is a factory unit).
If it has one, depress it for at least 5 seconds and pray it fixes it.
