Audio Systems: stereo buz, engine whine, bmw 635

Question
Sorry about that my computer quit....anyway the buzz is constant its not an whirl that is I mean it
is not moving with the revs of the engine its a constant ticking on the high end more of a ticking
sound not a buzz or hum...ok I will try to tune the amp myself so you suggest turning the
outputs down on the amp and finding a better installer.....many thanks Antony

system but sounds pretty cool but I get I high end buzz If I pull
out the tweets is not so bad what should I do the people who fit
it tried hard with earthing etc but just ended up saying its an old
car. I am a musician and cant live with buzz or without clear
high end help its driving me crazy

First of all, you asked this question three times with in 2 minutes.
This means that two other people could not ask me a question till 24 hours had passed. :(

From that you typed, it seems that you had someone else install it all.

If they are professionals they can fix it. So I presume that they are not pros.
'High end buzz' is pretty fague (coming from anyone, even more so from a musician).
Perhaps it is the head unit itself. It could be many things.
If the head unit is not causing it (pros would be able to detect whether or not this is the case, in a
heartbeat), the next suggestion is that the amp evels are simply set too high, and are picking up
system noise.
I do not know if you are discussing engine whine or a constant frequency, or what.
Bottom line is that I would take it to a real pro.. there are many immitaion installers out there
(and during troubleshooting is when they really fail to shine).

Answer
Ticking may be the injector system but the ticking would get faster and slower (with engine rpm) while remaining the same frequency.
That would at least mean that it is likely coming in thru the deck and on to the amps via RCA...  hence the generic 'reduce amp levels' statement. Of course, you need to have the levels high enough to produce RMS output when the volume on the deck is all the way up.
so...
You might try a line level ground loop isolator which should go into the RCA lines at the decks' RCA outputs.
