Audio Systems: Car stereo problem, needle nose pliers, electronic problem

Hi,
I have a couple year old pyramid CDR86DX car stereo. The radio still works but the cd player will not eject the cd, do you have any advice on how to get the cd out? Im not sure if it is a electronic problem or that it's just stuck, advice on both would be appriciated. Thanks a lot.

   really no trick to removing a stuck cd if your lucky meaning no mechanical problems you can see the disc and slip out with the help of a narrow set of needle nose pliers, they make a special took for this but i've never used one or had one you might try checking around some of your local audio shops you might also try calling pyramid to ask them .. now if you hear a humm or noise when you press eject you dont have any damage usually means everything is working just the cd is hung up , now if you dont hear anything the unit is damaged ... hope this helps out
