Audio Systems: how do i defferenciate btwn power,and speaker wires, sony model, factory stereo

I am trying to install a car stereo in my car,but i could not figure out the power(+&-)wire.I found 3 wires that seems to have power but iwas unable to find the power on the stereo itself.The stereo name is SONY,model #CDX-L550,it has 14 wires attached to it plug.It has 2 white,2green,2purple,2blue,2grey,1red,1yellow,1black,and 1 light blue.Each set of wires has 1 that have stripe except the red,black,yellow, and light blue.I have a toyota 92,although it comes with a factory stereo but i want to change the stereo.

  sorry has taken me so long i've been under the weather the past week and am just now getting caught up.. anyway i really hope i'm not to late and you've cut on the factory harness plug... if you havent yet all you need is an adapter harness you can pick up at radio shack or even wal-mart for usually under 12 bucks .. this will match color for color on your new units harness and simply plug back into the OEM plug to save your self the guess work of finding wires .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
