Audio Systems: Amp Installation, small bonfire, pontiac grand prix

Question
I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix (se) and i have installed an aftermarket cd player, and wish to install my Amp and Sub.  I have done many installations, but mostly on older vehicles.  I am having a problem with finding a spot to run the amp power cord throught the firewall.  Are you familiar with this vehicle? Would you be able to suggest areas that I might be able to run the power cord through?  The battery terminal is on the passenger side, there is also an extra positive post in which I will be connecting the power cord once I penetrate the firewall on the passenger side as well.

Answer
Jake,

sorry has taken me so long i've been under the weather the past week and am just now getting caught up.. anyway the best way on newer vehicles is with a varying size drill bit for metal.. now you do have to check and double check where you are drilling... a good place is usually on the drivers side since your wires run through there anyway this is where i begin to look and just use your head with where you drill .. and always try to use a rubber gromet to protect the wires so you dont end up with a small bonfire under the dash.. i wish i could help more specifically but i've never done an install on such a vehicle ... hope this gives some help

thanks
