Nissan Repair: 93 nissan altima, nissan altima, light fuse

i have a 93 nissan altima se
my problem is the brake lights will not turn off even if the car is turned off? any ideas? i checked the brake light fuse and it was fine i even unplugged it but they still wouldnt go off? i just have them dissconnected right now? anyone else have this problem?

Change the brakelight switch on the brake pedal.  It is a switch that is located up under the dash.  What is happening is the switch is either broken or out of adjustment.  When your foot is off the brake the switch should be fully depressed by the stop that it contacts under the dash.
