Audio Systems: PT Cruiser aftermarket stereo install problems, needle nose pliers, chrysler pt cruiser

Question
Installed an Aiwa cd player in 2001 Chrysler  Pt cruiser (radio was missing)used Crutchfield wiring connector- after install no power to radio and no juice at yellow power wire, while all fuses appear to be good and in order, "no fuse" code flashes on instrument panel below odometer. How to fix?

Answer
Dave,

since you used crutchfield to make your order you are in for a great line up of techs that have access to the exact harness they sold you to help walk you through this so that is where i would start... but from what it sounds like to me during your install/wire up you've let a hot wire slip and arc which has blown a fuse either in the back of the adapter harness, back of the aiwa unit, or in your cars fuse panel, so easy tip take a pair of needle nose pliers and one at a time pull each fuse and check for blows.. use a flashlight to really make sure they are ok if light is low ... hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know

thanks
