Audio Systems: Removal of dash?, radio air, c d player

Hi, my question should be pretty simple. You see i donot have a c.d. player in my car, and i use the cigarette lighter to play my music through a portable c.d. player. Well recently, i tried to install one of those portable fans to the cigarette lighter and the cigarette lighter somehow became completley unscrewed from the part that it was originally screwed to inside the dash. Well, rather than take it to the mechanic to recieve an bill, I was curious if you could tell me if there is a way or some tool (anything) that i could use or do in order to open up as well as reclose the dash(or case that covers outer surface of radio, air conditioner, etc.) in order to rescrew the cigarette lighter. I would appreciate it so much, thank you!

the whole backside of the lighter socket is it's mounting nut. you will have to be able to have access to the back, you might be able to take the whole thing out by taking the tray out, there should be a couple of screws to do this. then it's an easy job to hand tighten it enough for use. what i've done is reach behind dash with one hand and tighten socket while holding socket in place with my thumb of other hand... hope this helps,    g......
