Audio Systems: 94 Corvette Cassette Player on Blink??, direction arrows, direct email

Question
Tape got stuck in machine, wouldn't eject, after several
minutes of trying get it out, ended up prying it up and
out with a small pair of metal scissors. Now, when tape
is inserted, it does not "seat down" as before and
machine will not operate at all. "Clicking" sound and
"direction arrows" are operating, but no tape movement. WHAT DAMAGE DID I DO WITH THE SCISSORS?
I own a '94 Corvette Coup.

Most likely by prying on the tape deck you broke or bent some parts in the deck assembly. You may want to have an experienced repair shop take a look at your stereo. Contact me by direct Email for more repair info.
