MY 1999 DODGE NEON RAN HOT AND I FILLED THE RESERVOIR WITH WATER.  IT NOW MAKES A CLICKING SOUND WHEN I START IT. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE IT.  a friend of mine thinks that it is a hole in one of my hoses.  i have not had any problems with this car.  also my interior light does not come one.  before the car ran hot, i did hear a scratching sound about three days earlier.

PLEASE HELP BECAUSE I WANT TO TAKE IT TO A DEALER BUT I WANT THE ACTUAL PROBLEM
FIXED WITH THE LEAST EXPENSIVE COST.

As to the interior light, check the fuse for it and/or replace the bulb.
