Audio Systems: Intrepid-No Front Sound, infinity factory, infinity system

I'm not sure if my 96 Intrepid came with the Infinity system or not but when I installed my Pioneer 6500 series cd player the door speakers are not working anymore. The 2 or 3 in the dash work(faintly) and the rear's(loud & clear) work. If it is an Infinity factory system will I have to bypass an amp or signal modifier of some kind?

Most Infinity sound systems will use an external amp/s. The amp/s for the front speakers may be defective or the output from the head unit is faulty. It may also be possible that the connections to the door speakers are not connected when installing the after market stereo.
