Audio Systems: radio code, pontiac gran prix, vin number

Question
Bought a 1999 pontiac gran prix se vin # 1g2wj52m4xf332958, with a factory cassette player. Had to install a new battery & you guessed it, the radio locked. Pontiac wants $42.50 to unlock it. If i have to pay that much i might as well install a Cd player. My son told me you or someone out there might know the code to unlock it. Can you are do you know someone who can help me?    Thank you,

I don't have the unlock info for this year stereo. Most online code providers will charge about the same price for the code. In my opinion $42.50 is a little steep just for someone to punch in the vin number in a computer to get the code number. If I come across anyone who can get the code for alot less I will let you know in a couple of days.
