Audio Systems: GM factory in dash changer, chevy silverado, gm factory

  I have the GM factory in dash Bose 6 cd changer, when I put in a cd it said initialising and then stopped - radio works fine when I switch source but if I change to Cd I cant change cd's load cd's or eject the cd - what should I try next?

this is in my 2003 chevy silverado

Tim,
Most likely the CD changer mechanics is out of alignment or a small plastic part is broken. These 6 disc changers have a high failure rate. Your best bet is to have a repair shop take a look at the stereo.
