Motorcycle Repair: Electric problem, electrical connection, local shop

While riding the gauges go blank around 5 seconds later the bike wants to die. Try giving it gas but does not help it still dies. Put a new battery in and the bike worked fine for about 30 min. then it stoped running agian. I was able to push start it but it only stayed running for about 20 seconds. There's no year, make, or model information with your question.

In any case, I suspect a loose electrical connection or a defective CDI/ECM.

Consider having a local shop investigate the problem for you.
