Audio Systems: power, volt supply lines, hifonics brutus

Question
When I turn the voulume up on my stereo. The front speakers start to pop on and off. When I turn the voulme down they come back on. The volume to the amp seems to go down, at the same time. 94 Mustang GT. set-up Deh-p7700mp Pioneer stereo, 2 12 inch sub's. Hifonics Brutus BX1605d amp. I run with a capacitor. can't seem to fix it. Any help

The problem with your stereo sounds like a voltage supply problem. Make sure the 12 volt supply lines are as large as possible. In addition the battery and alternator may not be strong enough to handle the load of the power amp.
