Hi Tom,

What is required (and where to obtain such) for the use of the large (2 DIN?) radios from 2005 Chrysler 300's in another application: harness adapter? speakers (amplidied or not)? Can the Uconnect feature be made to work?

You may be able to purchase the connectors that plug into the rear of the stereo from your local Chrysler dealer. They may also supply you the wire color codes for what wire does what. If the dealer can't supply the connectors you can try an auto salvage yard and cut the connectors out of a wrecked vehicle. If you have the 2005 stereo already you can run the model number at your local Chrysler dealer and they can tell you if the stereo needs an external amp or not.
