Audio Systems: 2001 Acura TL Bose car stereo, car cd players, car cd player

Question
When I insert a burnt disc into my player I am able to hear the disc spinning inside of the player, however it does not play. After about five minutes it starts to play a little into the first song and it continues to play fine. However, if i attempt to change songs it does the same thing where I am able to hear the disc spinning. This only does this for burnt cds, however the cd's work in my other car's stereo, and my stereo at home. I have purchased a maxwell cd cleaner but it does not seem to help the problem. Help!

This problem happens to many CD players. It is due to how exact a burned CD is made from a computer. Many car CD players simply can't track the data that is burned into the CD. You may have better results if you change the burning parameters on the CD burner to a slower rate when burning CDs for use in your car CD player.
