Audio Systems: 2003 Honda radio light, vacuum tube, horizontal wires

The display lights in my 2003 Accord EX radio all of a sudden faded to almost black.  I can barely see the numbers or volume display.  Is there an adjustment I am missing?  Perhaps a fuse that needs replacing? The radio and the controls still work fine, and again, the display is still there, only very faded.

You will first have to determine if the display is an LCD display or a VFD, vacuum florescence display. A VFD display is a vacuum tube type display and if you look close at the display you may see some very fine horizontal wires running through the display. If this is the case the display power supply is at fault. With an LCD display the small lamps that back light the display may be darkened from use.
