Audio Systems: car cd player problems, car cd player, best buy

I have 1 95 pontiac grand am i removed the factory raido and put in a Legacy lcd15dx i put in a cd deck from best buy and i got the player in right but it skips constantly mainly when i am driving, the am/fm radio gets terrible recption on all stations and i did put an antenna adapter in and the overall sound when in i turn it up gets fuzzy

any tips or suggestions you have would be very helpful  Thanks

The CD skipping problem may be due to the stereo itself, a fairly inexpensive unit will be prone to skipping and bad reception. Double check all the speaker connections to be sure that none of the speaker wires are cross connected.
