Audio Systems: no power to car stereo, sony cdx s2000, nissan sentra

Question
I have recently installed a Sony CDX-s2000 cd deck in my 1995 Nissan Sentra.  Was working fine for a couple of months.  Just the other day,however, the cd player would no longer turn on. Used a harness adapter to connect the stereo to the car.  Have checked to seen that the yellow 12v is still connected.  I'm not to sure what else to do.  Any help will be well appreciated.

Use a 12 volt test lamp and make sure that 12 volts is on the yellow wire at the connector in the rear of the stereo. next make sure that you have 12 volts on the red wire at the connector with the key on.
