Audio Systems: 2005 Town & Country DVD Upgrade, factory radio, radio unit

I bought an OEM Mopar 6 disc DVD changer & monitor for Factory Radio (AM/FM/Cass/CD w/ RDS)....was told it should be plug and play, but the DVD changer Unit doesn't seem to be getting any power (won't accept dvd/cd) after connecting dvd unit to radio unit.  Hoping its just a faulty cable...(it actually has more wires into plug on one end than on the other - don't know if it splices into others over the length of the cable or not, but it seemed odd to me).  From what I understand it should function independantly of the screens so it should function as a cd changer until I get a chance to get monitors installed.
Any suggestions.

I don't have wiring info for a vehicle this new so you will have to contact the dealer for the wiring info for the changer unit. The changer should have a seperate 12 volt power supply wire for it. With the wiring diagram you should be able to connect the changer unit. You may also want to ask the dealer for the install manual for the changer.
