Audio Systems: 93 toyota corrolla 4dr sadan dx, toyota corrolla, blown fuses

Question
Last week my car stereo was stolen, in the removal process they totally cut my factory harness out. I am now stuck trying to figure out a mess of stray wires. If i dont connect them correctly I end up with a variety of results none of which I am looking for. No taillights,no dashlights, blown fuses, etc.... I have identified gray as acc. blue w/yellow as batt. there is a green wire I havent a clue and a white with green stripe that must be hooked up to a ground for dash lights. Starting with no harnesses can you explain how I can hook up my aftermarket kenwood kdc216s cd player to all these loose ends with factory results?

Answer
Joel,
You may want to contact your local Toyota dealer and ask the service dept for a print out of the stereo connector wiring. Or you could purchase a repair book for your model vehicle for about $20 at most car parts outlets. This book will show the wire colors and what they are used for.
