Audio Systems: car cd players, car cd players, pontiac dealership

I drive a 2000 pontiac bonneville.  Our CD player just quit working a few months ago.  We try to put a cd in and it just ejects it.  It won't play anything.  We tried cleaning the cd player with a cd cleaner and the cd's played for a couple of hours and then it just quit again.  The radio works fine, it's just the cd player.  What do you think the problem is and how do we fix it?

Unfortunately I don't know what's wrong with the CD player. The car isn't old enough that you should be having problems with it. Using a cleaner is really the only thing you can do when a CD player starts to act up. You're going to have to visit your local Pontiac dealership or car audio shop and have them take a look. When a head unit starts going crazy, there isn't much you can do (or that I can do to help you). Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
