Audio Systems: 1998 Expedition CD Changer, ford expedition, cd changer

I have a 1998 Ford Expedition with a 6-cd changer in it.  Recently, it stopped reading CD's.  The changer changes the cd's but I get an error message that says "NO CD".  I have read some of the other similar questions you have answered but didn't find one that directly addresses this issue.  I have thought about cleaning the lens with QTIP & alcohol, but I am not sure where the lens is...how can I get some idea of where to locate the lens.

You will need to pull the stereo out of the dash and take off the top cover to gain access to the CD assembly. Once you have the unit opened you should see the CD lens in the CD changer assembly.
