Audio Systems: Jammed CD Changer, bump in the road, release pin

Question
I have a 96 Ford Explorer with a 6 disc CD changer installed in the between the seats center console.  Some how when the changer unloaded a CD into the magazine it ended up in the wrong magazine slot.  Now there are 2 CDs in the #6 slot, #5 is empty, #4, #3, #2, and #1 each have a disc in them.

The magazine won't eject from player. When eject is pushed the radio unit on the dash reads "NO CD", the changer hummmmmmms, like it is trying to do something but won't eject.  It is sort of like it is trying to eject a CD into the #5 slot -- but there is nothing to put back in the slot since it is already doubled into the #6 slot.

Is there a manual release switch or somehow to get the magazine to pop out?  Since I can see all 6 CD in the magazine (just in the wrong place) - there is nothing loaded into the player itself.

Thanks for your help!!!

Answer
Steve,
There is a manual release of the magazine, however you need to find out if the trays are all the way into the magazine before releasing it. This problem is a common problem that occurs when the CD player is attempting to load a CD and at the same time the vehicle hits a hard bump in the road. This causes two CDs to load at the same time and jam up the player. To locate the release pin you will need to take off the covers and look on the bottom rear of the changer under the magazine area.
