I own a 2003 honda accord EX V6. I have added an iPod jack using Soundgate SNHOND3 auxilary input converter. Its a perfect match in the auxilary jack, but I can't get the radio to activate its AUX/CD button. The CD part still works but the radio doesn't recognize the added feature. I have taken the negative off the battery to reset the radio but it still doesn't add the auxilary option. How can I get the AUX to work?

The adapter that is plugged into the AUX input jack may not be compatable with the data line into the stereo. On some of the AUX convertors when audio is sent into it they will activate a data signal to trick the stereo into thinking that the external CD unit is connected. In this case the audio from the ipod will turn on the AUX jack inputs.
