we have a sony receiver STR-DE675 serial no. 886555 purchased about 3 yrs ago. the left speaker output isn't working. Any easy repair?

No, sorry, there's no "easy repair". You need to have it serviced by a qualified repair technician. Some part(s) has/have failed in the output section, and there can be a number of suspects. A bench test will reveal the culprit in short order.
