Audio Systems: GM stereo, gmc sierra, tape decks

Question
I own a 2000 GMC sierra ext cab 4 door, it has the factory stereo, cd player on the head unit and a tape player on the lower console. Is there any way of turning the auto revese off on the tape deck. I am trying to use a tape that transmits sound from a portable DVD player to the stereo in the truck. The tape flips back and forth twice and ejects it self.

There are cassette adapters that are made for use in auto reverse tape decks. These adapters will have a continuous loop band (some use a gear setup)in it that makes both spindle posts in the tape player to turn. This way the tape control circuit won't get a reverse signal. Try Circuit City or BestBuy.
