When ever I load a disc er-04 pops up on the display. what does that code pertain to? also how do i set the clock on it?

The error code refers to a fault with the focus/tracking of the laser pickup assembly. You may want to have a repair shop do a manual cleaning of the laser pickup unit. To set the clock, turn the stereo off and press the SET button. When the clock display comes on use the seek and scan to set the hours and minutes and when done press the set button.
