Audio Systems: clarion sd changer error codes, clarion cd changers, laser pickup

Question
whats does error codes 6 and 2 mean referances clarion cd changers and head unit.
eg the cd changer atempts ro play the music and after 30 seconds (no music played) error 6 flashes on the head unit all other function (fm and am radio) work fine. i do not have the modal numbers handy but im told the error codes are the same through the range

The error codes refer to a fault with the laser focus and tracking. The most common cause is a very dirty/dusty lens in the laser pickup. A manual cleaning of the lens with special cleaning solution on a Qtip may correct the problem. However, the problem may also be due to a weak or defective laser pickup assembly.
