Audio Systems: Cd wont eject, toyota corolla, jvc kd

Question
Hi Tom, I have a 1992 Toyota Corolla with a JVC KD-S5050 Cd Deck. I recently accidently left my lights on in my car all morning while I was in class, I got a jump from AAA. Right after he jumped it  I started it up and put my radio on, when i press eject it says "eject" on the screen but doesnt eject the CD. Do you think because I needed a jump that this problem happened or is it a coinsedence? Also the Cd in the player is a burnt CD with a printed label on it. I have used other cds with homemade labels on them and they had no problem ejecting. The CD still plays but only the first track, it wont play the others, it only plays about 1min of the first track and then stops. What do you think the problem is? How do I go about fixing it? I appreciate the help. Thanks, Alan

Answer
Alan,
Now that the battery is charged up again you may want to disconnect it for a few minutes to see if this will reset the stereo. The stereo may have had some kind of a surge when jump starting. A reset may fix the problem, if not the stereo may need to be checked out/repaired.
