Audio Systems: jvc radio, nissan altima, altima

Question
My self-installed JVC radio in my 1996 Nissan Altima was working for about four or so months. It just recently stopped making noise, no speakers work at all and the radio still has power. The speakers crackle once in a while but there is no sound at all. Thank you for any help you  may have.

Sorry that I haven't returned your answer sooner, I have been away my my shop for a few days. The problem with your stereo may be that one or more of the speaker feed wires were crossed or possibly grounded. In this condition the amp/s in the stereo may have been damaged and will need to be replaced.
