Audio Systems: Sony Wega 32 inch, center channel speakers, inch television

I have a Sony Wega 32 inch television which was purchased around 2000-2001. The problem I am having is that I get color bleeding in from 3 of the 4 corners of the T.V. They are always red and green and seem to get worse the longer the T.V. is on. Do you know what this may be? Thanks ahead of time. Thomas

A couple of things.

First, do you have any "front channel" or "center channel" speakers within 3 feet of the monitor? If so, are they magnetically shielded? If not, the strong magnets used in loudspeakers will cause the distribution of color to bleed. The only way to fix this is to have the tube/set degaussed at a TV fixit shop.

Second, the tube's on the fritz.

Either way, you need to take it into the shop.
