Audio Systems: Car Sterio, yukon denali, car sterio

I have a 2000 yukon denali with a Bose radio.  The radio does not light up on the left side of the radio when the head lights are turned on.  Do I need to send the radio off for repair or this this something I can easily fix myself?  Thank you in advance.

If you are mechanically inclined then you should be able to replace the burned out back lamps. After removing the stereo from the dash and carefully disassembling the front panel assembly you should see several very small lamps. These small 12 volt lamps can be purchased from radio Shack. To remove and replace these lamps you will need to use a soldering iron. If you feel that you cannot do this yourself, please contact me by direct Email for more details.
