Audio Systems: kenwood cd changer w/ chrystler factory stereo, kenwood cd changer, kenwood stereo

Question
I just bought a new 2005 pt cruiser with a factory AM FM caset stereo. I have a kenwood 6 disk cd changer (KDC-C667) I bought last year. I am trying to find a way to connect them, the factory stereo is cd changer ready with the stereo controls. The changer was hooked up in my 87 toyota supra. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Answer
Sherry,
You may want to contact a local car stereo install shop. Ask them if they can supply the remote control module for the Kenwood CD changer. With the remote control module you should be able to send the output of the CD changer into the CD jack on the factory stereo by using the proper adapter. I didn't think to ask, but what type of Kenwood CD changer interface do you have in the Toyota? Does the kenwood Changer plug directly into the factory stereo or into a Kenwood stereo?
