Audio Systems: 1991 Buick Regal, buick regal, factory stereo

Question
I bought my wife a cheap $50 CD player for her 1991 Regal as the factory stereo volume knob quit working. I read your previous answers and will go out and buy the wiring kit, but where on earth am i going to put the new CD player? the factory stereo is a square and small...while the CD player, is long and rectangular.

Any ideas?

Answer
Jason,
If you stop by any good car stereo install shop you should be able to purchase the plastic dash adapter for your make and model vehicle. When you remove the factory stereo, the plastic adapter will take place of the original radio. The adapter will have a cut out for the new stereo..
