Audio Systems: Channel Scan Skipping, 1998 volvo s90, volvo s90

Question
My 1998 Volvo S90 radio will not allow you to go up by 10th increments for fine tuning i.e 710, 720, 730...

It will skip like 710, 790, 840, any thoughts or suggestions?  Is there a way to reprogram it?

It's possible that the digital decoder/volume control is failing. Try tuning from one end of the dial to the other several times in steps and record what the display reads to see if it shows a pattern! It is also possible that the tuning processor needs to be reset, to do so disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes and then reconnect it to see if the stereo will work like normal again.
