Hi, i just purchased a used 1992 volvo 740 turbo wagon, has radio, but asked for code, i took it to a dealer and he supplied the code and told me what to do, i entered the code when promted, but radio still doesnt work any ideas of what i could do ?

If you entered the code correctly and the radio turned on, but nothing else happens, your radio will need to be repaired. If the radio prompted you for the code, the power to the radio is OK. Do you have the owners book for this vehicle? it will show you the procedures for entering the code. After you entered the correct code did you press any other buttons to install the code?
