Audio Systems: ford factory CD, ford factory, factory cd

I have a ford factory cd player that does not eject the cd when I push the eject button but when i pull the unit out of the dash and unplug it and then plug it back in the cd ejects automaticly without pushing the eject button.
This player is for explorers and f150 02-03.

Randy,
Any number of problems can cause to the CD player to not eject. When you pull out the connector and plug it back in the processor will go through a reset and this is why the CD will eject. For a CD unit this new you should contact your Ford dealer and ask about any warrantys that may still be on the stereo.
