Audio Systems: Transfering a cd changer between cars., 1997 ford taurus, ford taurus

I drove a 1997 Ford Taurus, and a cd changer was installed into the trunk as a gift to me. I recently purchased a 2001 Ford Taurus, and wish to transfer the cd changer to my new car. (I kept the cd changer, sold the car). The dash board is already set up so I can install the CD changer. I dont know how to install it, and can find no place to plug it into(the old car had some wire extending out in the trunk). How do I install it, do I have to purchase any cables? If so, what, where, and how.

Please give me the make and model on your CD changer. Also, What do you mean that the dash is already set up? Depending on who made the CD changer, you will need the hook up cables and the modulator unit.
