I have a 2002 Nissan Maxima with the Bose in dash AM,FM,Cassette and 6 CD disc changer. After pulling the stereo out to repair my cell phone hands free cradle my CD player quit working. When I try to play or load a disc I get a message that says ALL EJECT and then a message that says CD ERROR FO. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Mickey,
It's possible that when you pulled out the stereo you may have stirred up some dust and it settled on the laser lense. You may want to try using a CD cleaner disc to see if it corrects the problem. If the cleaner disc doesn't work you may need to have a manual cleaning done on your CD unit.

Tom,
Thanks for the prompt reply. I can't eject a disc and the changer is full with 6 disc's loaded. I tried unhooking the negative battery cable and that didn't work. Any other ideas?

Answer
Mickey,
If you haven't already tried, contact your local dealer and ask some one in the service dept if some kind of a reset needs to be done in order for the stereo to work again. I don't have any info on this problem, however I do know from all the in dash 6 disc changers that come in for repair at my shop, that these units have a high failure rate of the changer assembly.
