Audio Systems: car radio, aftermarket stereo, car info

Hi Cody,
What determines if an aftermarket stereo will or won't fit into a car. I have a radio that i'm looking into buying. I've gone to a few websites that allow you to enter all your car info and it tells you if a certain a model will fit. Most of them say the one i want will fit but one of them says it won't. I figure I'm just going to have to bring it somewhere and have someone check it out. But i thought you might have some insight to this.

 most all aftermarket head units are 1 DIN size , which either is an exact fit or an adaptable fit *in most cases* and requires a dash install kit *10-15 bucks* .. now there are many measurements associated with aftermarket units but for the most part any standard size single DIN will fit , if you got 2 out of 3 sites that gave a thumbs up then your OK ... hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
