Audio Systems: factory stereo/aftermarket amp, antenna control, rca input

Question
I am installing an aftermarket amp to my stock 2000 chevy s-10 stereo but i dont know where to hook up the RCA input cables to. Is there some kind of adapter i need, I also need to know which of the colored wires on the stock stereo is for the remote lead that needs to go to the amp.

Answer
Wes,
On most newer stereos you will need to use the antenna control lead for turning on the amp. As for the adapter, you may be able to find one at Radio Shack. This is a high level to low level adapter, that is, speaker level to RCA connections. Try visiting your local Chevy dealer and ask for a print out of the stereo connector in the dash of your truck.
