Audio Systems: Sirius Satellite Radio, antenna assembly, assembly number

I need the part number for the cable CONNECTOR on the magnet mount Audiovox antenna. The antenna assembly number is 118C1130. The small, crimp-on coaxial connector broke off from the cable at the connector boot. Sirius and Audiovox blew me off, they will not tell me the part number. I will probably need to buy a bag of connectors and the crimper tool from an electronics parts vendor, but I need to know the connector part number first. I really do not want to send my antenna away for repair because I can replace the connector myself. Can you help?

Your best bet is to stop at any electronics supply outlet and show them the connector that you need. If you haven't tried already, stop at Radio Shack to see if they have a replacement connector. The install shops at BestBuy and Circuit City should have a replacement connector for your antenna. You might even find the connector at a company called MCM Electronics.
