Audio Systems: headphones, electronic drum kit, bose triport

Greetings,
I am looking for a top of the line pair of headphones to use with my electronic drum kit (Roland TD7) and for a personal cd player. I am considering purchasing the Bose TriPort set which is $150, but was wondering if you have any recommendations. I would prefer to pay $80-$100 but can spare the extra money if its really worth it. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks. Joseph

I recommend the Grado SR-60 ($69) or SR-80 ($95) or SR-125 ($150). All are excellent with very flat response. As you go up the ladder (pay more), you get extended detail on the high end and progressively deeper bass. I've used a pair of SR-60s for years and have no complaints.
