Audio Systems: Setting EQ on a JVC, jvc kd, memory button

I was given a JVC KD-680 CD player which I installed in my truck. The problem is I have no instruction manuel and I have to reset the bass, treble and fade levels after everytime I start my truck up. What do I do to set the levels or are they always going to a default setting regardless?

I don't have a book on this unit so I cannot tell you the correct way to set the levels and keep them set. Is this unit a CD player only or a CD radio? If this is CD unit only, make sure that you have to 12 volt hot at all times connected. On some CD stereos when you set the EQ levels you will need to press the memory button to store those settings.
