jeremy,

need some more information .. if you are trying to install the unit into a car you need a wire harness adapter .. but if for some reason you are missing the original pioneer harness you need to contact them for the information and replacement ..

thanks

Jeremy,

ok if you are using a wire harness adapter, and you are wiring it to your new units harness , the color should match up color for color, the adapter harness should have colors and also on the wire it should say what it is such as "left front +" your new units harness should have the same but sometimes its just colored wires and stick on labels, so look over your wires real close.. they should match color for color then you simply plug your adapter harness into your cars stock plug and your ready for music ... now i have never in my history of installs found a harness adapter that didnt match up with an aftermarket units harness .. sometimes the shade of the colors will be off by a pinch but they are always labeled on the part of the adapter harness .. and if the new units harness isnt marked the book for the unit tells you what they are .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know

thanks

I got the wire colors from Pioneer, but now i get no sound unless I unhook the right rear speaker? Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
         Thanks

Answer
Jeremy,

it sounds like you either have a short in the speaker which is most likly or you still have a wire crossed .. take a car speaker if you have one laying around * a home speaker will work too* and wire it to the right rear speaker connections on your harness to see if it works ... if it does replace the speaker.. if it doesnt you will need to go back over your wiring .. here is a site that might help you if you are doing a straight wire in www.streetdreams.com/wires .. if you need anything else let me know

thanks
