Audio Systems: Sub and back speakers suddenly not working!, left speaker, speaker wire

Question
I had to unplug my rear left speaker wire and the wires connecting to the sub in the back of my car in order to get a load of furniture in the back! After putting the wires back in (and thats all I removed so that I would not mix everything up!) I put my stereo on but now I get sound from the back for about a second and then it just cuts out? I have checked all the wires but it all seems fine!
The speakers are Pioneer and the head unit, sub and amp are Sony

If you had the speakers on the left side disconnected and you turned on the stereo, with no speaker connected on that side and you used the stereo it may have caused damage to the amp. Your first step is remove the amp and have someone check it out.
